چکیده

هدف از پژوهش حاضر، تحلیل وضعیت موجود و سوات میزبانی رویدادهای بزرگ ورزشی در ایران می‌باشد.روش پژوهش، توصیفی بوده و از نوع مطالعات زمینه‌یابی می‌باشد. یافته‌ها نشان می‌دهد که امکان میزبانی و برگزاری رویدادهای بزرگ ورزشی در کشور وجود ندارد، اما پتانسیل برگزاری کلیۀ این رویدادها وجود دارد. همچنین، بر مبنای نتایج، برخی نقاط قوت عبارت هستند از: حمایت و علاقۀ مردم به میزبانی، امنیت، جاذبه‌های گردشگری، موقعیت جغرافیایی، توانایی بالقوۀ اقتصادی و زیرساختی ایران و برخی نقاط ضعف نیز شامل بخش‌های کمی و کیفی زیرساخت‌های حملو‌نقل، اسکان، سالن‌ها و استادیوم‌ها، ضعف نیروی انسانی و مدیریتی، تحریم و ضعف اقتصادی، عدم حمایت دولت و عدم نفوذ بین‌المللی می‌باشد. فرصت‌های میزبانی نیزدربرگیرندۀ توسعۀ زیرساخت‌ها، صنعت گردشگری، افزایش وجهۀ ایران و بهبود روابط اجتماعی می‌باشد و تهدیدات نیز مواردی مانند وجود کشورهای رقیب قدرتمند، مدیریت ناهماهنگ، خطر تحمیل هزینۀ مالی رویداد و رهاکردن حمایت دولت را در بر می‌گیرد.

SWOT of Hosting Mega Sport Events in Iran

چکیده [English]

The purpose of this study was to analyze the current state and SWOT of hosting mega sporting event in Iran. Research method and type were descriptive and fundamental, respectively. Results showed that currently Iran has not good situation for hosting mega sport events, but had a potential for hosing and holding mega sport events. Support of Iranian people, security, tourism attraction, geographic situation, infrastructures and economic potential were identified as strengths points. Some weaknesses were transportation system, infrastructures and sport venues, human resource, management, economic sanctions by western countries, unstable government support, and lack of international lobbying power. Some opportunities were development of infrastructure, growth of the tourism industry, increased Iranian prestige, and development of social relationship. Finally, some threats included strong rivals, cost pressure of the event, uncertain management, and losing government support.
