Abstract
Holding global and international events is one of the effective factors in the growth and development of zurkhaneh and wrestling sports. The significant presence of the world's leading countries and athletes in these events doubles the importance of identifying factors affecting the quality of sports event services. Therefore, the purpose of the present study was to investigate the factors affecting the quality of services of the 2024 World Pahlavani Wrestling Championships hosted by Tabriz. The present study was descriptive-analytical in terms of strategy, applied in terms of purpose, and field research in terms of data collection method. The statistical population was all wrestlers and technical staff participating in the 2024 World Pahlavani Wrestling Championships, who were selected in a non-random and accessible manner, and finally 62 complete questionnaires were analyzed. The instrument used in the study was a questionnaire that included two sections of demographic information and questions on the quality of sports event services with 40 items. SPSS 27 and SmartPLS 3 software were used for data analysis. The findings showed that the seven criteria of organization quality, quality of facilities and equipment, quality of safety and security, quality of human resources, quality of competition hall, quality of accommodation and transportation, and quality of information, respectively, played a significant role in the quality of competition services. As a result, it is necessary for event officials and organizers to pay special attention to these issues in order to hold competitions with higher quality and host them at higher levels.
