Abstract

Knowledge Management (KM) is a process that transforms individual knowledge into organizational knowledge. The aim of this research is to present a model that consists of a set of facilitators for successful KM implementation in National Olympic Committee (NOC) of Iran. Population of this study was all of managers and staff in NOC. Exploratory factor analysis was conducted to identify the factor structure of this study, and it yielded 5 main factors consisting of 13 dimensions. The Convergent and discriminant validity of the measurement scales by using average variance extracted in this study were confirmed. The proposed model with 5 constructs was evaluated through Structural Equation Modeling analysis. The results demonstrate that the proposed model has the best-fitting and show the amount effects of any observed independent variables on latent independent variable. Moreover, our results reveal pepole as the most vital factor of knowledge management effectiveness and then Information technology, organisational culture, KM strategy and finally organizational structure respectively. Finally, we can say this study presents a local structural equation model for KM facilitators in National Olympic Committee of Iran.
