Abstract

Talent identification process was one of the most important issues in contemporary sports. The purpose of this research was to assess Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) of Quality Assessment of Sports Talent Development System Questionnaire (QASTDSQ). The research method was descriptive - survey and performed in practical way. Participants included all coaches, athletes, experts of sporting federations and commissions and physical education experts that 460 person finally completed questionnaire. After content validity, used Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) and CFA and Cronbakh alpha for reliability and validity of questionnaire. Result of CFA showed that six factor of questionnaire was a good factorial structure and reliability of questionnaire with Cronbakh alpha for six factors showed the range between 0.78 – 0.85. X2/df=1.65, RMSEA=0.06 indexes and NFI=0.94, NNFI=0.91, CFI=0.96, GFI=0.92, six factor structure of QASTDSQ has good fit. Ultimately, The questionnaire Can be used In the studies the quality of talent evaluation system In federations and sports.
