The aim of the present study was the impact of new technologies on the economic added value of sports events. This study was descriptive-correlational in type, applied in purpose and field implementation method. The statistical population included financial managers of sports teams and clubs, specialists and experts in the field of new sports technologies, CEOs and experts of sports clubs, experts and experts in the field of economics and university professors in 1404, which was carried out using a purposive and accessible sampling method. A sufficient number of statistical samples were selected and analyzed for modeling (125 people), but ultimately, due to the incompleteness of some questions, 118 questionnaires that were complete were analyzed. The measurement tool included modified questionnaires of new technologies and economic added value with a five-value Likert scale, the validity of which was confirmed by using 12 experts and examining the content validity index (CVI) and content validity ratio (CVR) and composite reliability, construct validity, convergent and divergent validity using factor analysis. SPSS and SmartPLS 4 software were used to analyze the data. The results showed that technologies, sports performance improvement technologies, event management technologies, and fan interaction technologies had a significant effect on the economic added value of sports events, respectively. Based on the findings, it can be said that the systematic use of modern technologies in sports event management helps increase economic added value (including ticket revenue and financial sponsorships) by improving the quality of content and processes and enhancing the fan experience.
