Abstract
The aim of the current research was to Analyzing the barriers to employment and entrepreneurship in the Iranian sports industry. The current research method is qualitative and exploratory research, and in terms of its purpose, it is considered as part of applied research. The participants in this research included experts and experienced people in the field of sports entrepreneurship, sports employment, sports entrepreneurship professors, sports business owners, and entrepreneurship coaches, and the purposeful sampling method was used in the research. To collect information, in-depth and semi-structured interviews were conducted with the participants and theoretical saturation was achieved with 25 interviews. To analyze the data in the qualitative part, thematic analysis method was used to obtain the information of this research. The research results show that employment and entrepreneurship challenges in Iran's sports industry consist of nine main categories, which include structural challenges, business challenges, human resources challenges, soft skills challenges, infrastructure challenges, management challenges, economic challenges, legal challenges and It becomes a social challenge. Challenges of employment and entrepreneurship in Iran's sports industry consist of twenty-one subcategories, which include the nature of the sports market, small sports market, employment issues, business strategies, competent employees, compliance with employees' rights, educational and skill gaps, adaptation to trends, inappropriate platforms. , access to technology, communication issues, marketing issues, inappropriate financial support, poor investment, economic instability, regulatory barriers, country restrictions, inappropriate environment, social attitudes, environmental issues and health issues.
