Abstract
The present study aimed to develop a model for generating sustainable revenues in the wrestling federation of the Islamic Republic of Iran. This research is qualitative in terms of structure and nature, and the theory arising from data and the structured model of Strauss and Corbin (1990) were used to develop the research model. To collect data, interviews were conducted with 21 elites and wrestling experts. The sampling was purposeful and continued in the form of a snowball, which finally ended with the theoretical saturation criterion of the interview and data collection process. In order to analyze the data, a data-driven approach and the model proposed by Strauss and Corbin (1990) were used, and the coding method was used to identify the central phenomenon as well as each of the causal, contextual, intervening, strategies and the outcomes. In the coding stage, 125 initial independent codes were created. The central phenomenon of the model was considered to be "marketing and stakeholder management". Of the 125 extracted codes, 18 codes were related to causal factors, 20 contextual codes, 16 intervention codes, 49 codes were related to strategies, and 22 codes were related to the consequences of creating sustainable income in the wrestling federation. The results of this research can be used as a comprehensive framework for developing income generation in the wrestling federation by managers and policymakers
