Abstract
Volunteering is the backbone of civil society, having a tremendous impact by providing social services and by influencing the people receiving these services. The aim of this research is to sociological analysis of sport volunteering: a Bourdieusian Prespective, that was done with a qualitative method and a critical ethnography approach at the sport volunteers from participating in the students cultural-sports Olympiads. Based on this, the research was operationalized using the five-stag of the Karspeakan approach, which was examined and analyzed in an emic and etic way by recording reflective notes. In this regard, the researcher entered the field and collected the desired data first as an external observer and together with participatory observation and interviews in different times at the places of these sports events, the field of research did completed; In this way, the research in the presented framework went through its next stages until finally it led to the expansion of the data derived from thematic analysis. Ten overarching themes were obtained from the analysis of the research findings, which include the feeling of good friendship and togetherness, social feelings and expectations, Freedom from isolation and depression caused by coronavirus, serving fellow human beings, institutional challenges, raising the city and university flag, foundations of volunteering, love for volunteering, attention and recognition the values of volunteering, acquiring opportunities and work experiences.
