Abstract
Improving the level of economy and national welfare, generating wealth and added value through the development of knowledge-based businesses is considered one of the main ways to create a sustainable economy of societies. The purpose of research was to explain the role of production, knowledge-based and job creation in the development of knowledge-based sports businesses. This research was mixed method . The statistical population included all sports business owners in the production and service sectors, new sports business owners and sports researchers of growth and technology centers, which 187 people were selected by random sampling. In the qualitative phase after conducting semi-structured interviews until reaching theoretical saturation, 13 central codes and three selective codes were identified. In the quantitative phase of the research, after ensuring the internal reliability of the questionnaire (α≤0.79), a researcher-made questionnaire was used that consisting of production, knowledge-based and employment-creating dimensions. In order to analyze the data, PLS software used (P≥0.05). The results showed that the creation of innovation system, the establishment of innovation system, the development of knowledge-based companies and knowledge-based employment have a significant effect on the development of sports businesses. Therefore, according to the instructions of the wise leader, by creating a bridge between the government, industry, society and the university, while trusting and supporting local knowledge, through the intelligent use of the scientific and technological levers of sports science graduates, It made it possible to maximize the economic potential of sports in the country with the aim of creating a stable economy.
