Abstract

The aim of the current research was to investigate the role of e-government in the performance of the employees of Qazvin Province Sports and Youth Department with the mediation of organizational transparency. This research was descriptive-correlation in terms of type, applied in terms of purpose and field implementation method. The statistical population of the present study included all managers and employees of the Sports and Youth Department of Qazvin province. The statistical sample was determined as a total number due to the limitation of the statistical population. . The research measurement tools included three questionnaires of e-government (Mohrampour, 2019), organizational transparency (Al-Nashmi, 2012) and employee performance (Miller, 2000). The content and face validity of these tools were confirmed by 15 experts in sports management and managers and employees of Qazvin Province Sports and Youth Department, and the reliability of the tool through Cronbach's alpha (0.77) and composite reliability and construct validity, convergent validity and divergent validity with The use of factor analysis was confirmed. The results showed that the government had a significant effect on employee performance (0.32) and organizational transparency (0.81). Also, organizational transparency had a significant effect on employee performance (0.55). Based on the findings, it can be said that if the employees and customers are informed about the organizational work process, the field of increasing organizational transparency will be provided, which will ultimately lead to better and more useful performance of the employees.
