Abstract
The purpose of this study was to identify green requirements and actions for green management In relation to the sustainable development of Iranian football stadiums. The present study was a qualitative research and the qualitative content analysis method was used to analyze the data. The statistical population of the present study included experts in the field of sustainable development, managers and technical engineers of the stadiums where the Iranian Football Premier League was held in the years 1398 to 1399 Iran. Access to research samples was done by purposeful sampling method and then continued by snowball method. Finally, after conducting interviews with 12 people, theoretical saturation was obtained. After collecting and analyzing the interviews, 42 open codes were obtained, which were divided into 10 pivotal categories. Finally, from the obtained categories, three concepts of environmental management (pivotal categories of green development, green space development, pollution management), energy resources management (water resources management, electricity management, gas resources management), social and cultural management (categories of social conflict management, justice and civil rights respect, charitable activities, culturalization) were obtained. The results of this research can be used in the construction of green stadiums based on sustainable development. in addition to this, ,the result of this research can also be used in the policy making and creating strategical program of sustainable development in the country sport.
