Structuring Factors Effecting on Boundary‐Spanning Improvement in Sport Federations

Abstract
The purpose of this study was to Structuring Factors Effecting on Boundary‐Spanning Improvement in Sport Federations. The current research was of Mix Method. The statistical population of the present study in the qualitative section consisted of experts who were aware of the research topic. The statistical population in the quantitative part of the study included managers of sport federations of the Iran. The research tool was semi-structured interviews and researcher-made questionnaire that designed accord to the aims and method of the research. SPSS and PLS were used for data analysis. The results of this study showed that specialized knowledge, communication, technical infrastructure, national and international cooperation background, motivation, database, management aspects and legal aspects were identified as effective factors. Finally, drawn conceptual model with using the structural modeling method. The results of the research showed that all the relations of the research model have a significant effect due to having a T-value higher than 1.96.
