This research was a descriptive and survey. The population included 607 physical education teachers working in northern khorasan province schools .The respondent sample answering to the questionnaire was determined using the Morgan table (230). Spritzer’s questionnaires and Allen and Meyer’s organizational commitment were used for the purpose of data gathering. Their reliability were obtained using cronbach's alpha (psychological empowerment = 0.88 and organizational commitment =0.87). Data analysis was done using descriptive statistics and spearman correlation coefficient .The results showed a significant positive relationship between employees’ psychological empowerment and their organizational commitment. Also a sense of competence, meaning, self-determination, impact and trust correlated positively and significantly with the organizational commitment, affective commitment and normative commitment. On the contrary, no correlation was seen with the continuance commitment. Based on the results of this research, showing a high correlation between psychological empowerment and organizational commitment among physical education teachers, we can conclude that psychological empowerment of physical education teachers to enhance their organizational commitment seems inevitable. اندیشمندان مدیریت تحول و بهسازی سازمان، توانمندسازی منابع انسانی را به‌عنوان راهبردی اثرگذار بر عملکرد و بهسازی نیروی انسانی معرفی کرده‌اند. هدف این پژوهش، بررسی ارتباط بین توانمند‌سازی و تعهد سازمانی معلمان تربیت‌بدنی استان خراسان شمالی بوده است. روش انجام پژوهش، توصیفی و از نوع پیمایشی بود. جامعۀ آماری این پژوهش شامل معلمان تربیت‌بدنی استان خراسان شمالی (607 نفر ) بود که حجم نمونۀ آن بر‌اساس جدول مورگان و همکاران 230 نفر تعیین گردید. نتایج پژوهش نشان داد که بین توانمند‌سازی روانی و تعهد سازمانی معلمان تربیت ‌بدنی استان خراسان شمالی رابطۀ معنا‌داری وجود دارد.همچنین بین احساس شایستگی، احساس معناداری، خود‌تعیینی، مؤثر‌بودن و اعتماد با تعهد سازمانی، تعهد عاطفی وتعهد هنجاری معلمان تربیت‌بدنی رابطۀ معنا‌داری وجود دارد؛اما بین احساس شایستگی، احساس معناداری، خود‌تعیینی‌، مؤثر‌بودن و اعتماد با تعهد مستمر رابطه‌ای وجود ندارد. با توجه به نتایج می‌توان گفت که توجه به توانمند‌سازی روانی معلمان تربیت‌بدنی برای ارتقای تعهد سازمانی آنان امری ضروری به‌نظر می‌رسد. https://smrj.ssrc.ac.ir/article_404_4f4adcbf8c6f66dcfc8a3282ac2bf10a.pdf
