Abstract

The purpose of this study was to design and test a model of sports migration in Iran. The research method is descriptive-correlational. The statistical population included experts in the field of sports migration (professors, managers and immigrants). The statistical sample was estimated to be sufficient for modeling in smart pls software, and was selected by sampling judgment method (178 people). The research tool was a questionnaire extracted from the systematic qualitative stage. The validity of the instrument was used by experts (content validity) and model fit indices (reliability and construct validity). The modeling results showed that the repulsions of the country of origin (with a coefficient of 0.22), the attractions of the destination country (0.39), the environmental media network (0.65) and previous experiences of migration (0.35) had a significant effect on the individual context of migration. have. Individual context of migration (0.60), existing organizational framework (0.55) and environmental migration services (0.35) have a significant effect on the tendency to sport migration. Tendency to sports migration has a significant effect on the consequences of sports migration for countries (0.65) and on the consequences for immigrants (0.90). Based on the results, it can be said that sports migration is the result of influential and deterrent factors that, based on the environmental context, form an individual tendency to migrate, which can have different positive and negative consequences for the origin and destination.
